Does anyone think that Williem Dafoe's still young enough for Joker ?

Seriously, how the hell did DC never think about casting Dafoe ?

Despite being in SS for only a few minutes, I still find Leto's Joker annoying, over the top with stupid appearance and out of the world - cringe dialogue. So I really hope that if WB reboot this messy DCEU, we can have Dafoe as our dream Joker.

PS: erm, can any MOD or Admin edit the thread's name ? It's Willem. I mispelled his name.

Would all depend on how old you set Batman's age at. Old Batman, yes, it could work, re-set Batman in his 30's with the next actor, if Ben ducks out then no.

I was going to say exactly the same thing.

For the next TDKR adaptation? yeah go for it. Opposite Josh Brolin.

He does have a real Joker look to his face (aside from being a solid actor). Can't believe I've never seen this mentioned or thought of it before!

Cameron Monaghan's Jerome reminds me of Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin. I can see inspiration from Heath, Nicholson, and Hamill as well.

Dafoe would be amazing. They should've gone with him for Suicide Squad

Yeah, he would have been perfect about 5 years ago.

He's still got the look and the acting chops to be terrific in thr role.

However, the Joker is a very demanding role. Dafoe is 62, Nicholson was 51 when he took on the part, and Ledger only 27 - and it took a massive toll on him.

Personally, I think Nic Cage is a better choice given that he's only 54. I would have loved to see Dafoe as the Joker about 5- 10 years ago.
