I'm not even targeting that specific thread, but the online backlash as a whole. If the movie is getting good/decent reviews and they're still this heated about it, it really casts away the notion that this backlash was about the movie supposedly looking "terrible" and cements that it was more of an "Oh gosh, they've got girls doing my boy things! #RIPMyChildhood" response.
