It didn't bother me because I don't mind Ed Sheeran, but it just seemed a little too gratuitous. Like "HEY, HERE HE IS!" as opposed to the more subtle cameos from Coldplay, etc. in the past.

On a related note, make sure you catch Harry Styles in Dunkirk, only in theaters this Friday!

Yeah I can see that, they did focused on him a bit too much, but it doesn't warrant a massive freakout like some people are having.

It was a little heavy handed, but I didn't have a problem with it. What I thought was funny was they positioned him between actual actors having a conversation to keep him in the shot almost the entire time, even as he said almost nothing.

They gave him one or two token lines, and it was clear why he's a singer and not an actor.
