Snyder's version would have probably been a lot better than the garbage we got. That's what I learned after watching Whedon's version of JL.

It would've gotten points for not feeling choppy and a lack of CG Cavill mouth, but beyond that...

I feel like Cavill's mouth looked like **** for about 85-90% of JL, and this was my favorite of his performances, so... thanks for that, Joss.

I feel he did terrible with these in the other movies....so I don't see how he would done so good in this one.

I never liked Superman until MOS and tho he was a little too depressed in BvS I still prefer that to what Joss gave us. Mainly it's the Steppenwolf Motherbox scenes that he irritates me in and that cheesy credits scene with flash. Less smiling and forced laughter and quips would have been better. He was good in the resurrection and farm scenes tho.

Batman was awful. The way they lit his suit, the way it's shot, puffy Affleck, those stupid goggles, he doesn't have any of the ferocity or even the speed that he had in the warehouse scene in BvS. Idk if Joss/WB is to blame or if this change originated with Snyder in preproduction, but someone neutered Batman in JL.

Agreed. People seem to like this new Superman because... he smiles? I don't know, but most of his newly written lines felt really awkward and the terrible CG mouth didn't help.
