OT: I legitimately think CinemaSins and to a lesser extent Movie Pitch has really ruined online film discussions

CinemaSins used to be entertaining for a little while back in the day before their videos started running well past the 10 minute mark and they started nitpicking every little detail. I used to watch them more to get cliffs notes abridged versions of movies that I had no desire to watch in full like Terminator Genisys.

Yeah I watched it when they first started blowing up when I was really into ScreenJunkies, Collider, Schmoes, Double Toasted and all that. But I never was super super into Cinema Sins. I often felt that CS was just a glorified version of the "Goofs" section on IMDB. But idk why or when it happened but people online started thinking of that kinda movie watching is legitimate. Way too much nitpicking and complaining that things aren't realistic. I saw this comment on Reddit and thought it summed up well

But anyway I'm derailing the thread.
