I wanted Jake for Spider-Man back in the days before the Marc Webb movies when it looked like Tobey Maguire wasn't coming back after Spider-Man 3. It would have been fine with me if he took on the mantle without rebooting the series entirely. But in the end I'm happy with what we ended up getting in Tom Holland.
