Also, Terrifier 1 is pretty barebones... Terrifier 2 is like Paddington 2 for horror.

Same, and then it sinks in that all of those movies are more or less straight up adaptations which is what he's best at. Everything kind of goes off the rails when he's left to his own devices, and I say that as someone who liked Man of Steel and the Snyder Cut. Sucker Punch was awful, BvS was a mess, and Army of the Dead was just plain boring.
