Drizzy, I swear because for that last movie to make the money it did, why do we not see it featured in pop culture more? There are no memes, there are no jokes, I think Disney is using some kind of witchcraft for that movie's box office.

I just find it odd. Even Bill Hader hasn't seen The Way of Water and he's a friggin' cinephile! He admitted to it in this week's Lonely Island podcast because they were talking about the SNL episode when Sigourney Weaver hosted.

But I will say, a good number of those same people I've talked to have been on the Pandora ride at Disney and they loved it. One of them even said she was moved to tears and she'd never even seen Avatar.

I think it might have been vaguely hinted at in NOES 6 during the flashbacks to before he got burned but Freddy vs. Jason leaned into it more, which I think makes it canon.
