Don Bluth and Gary Goldman are coming together once again to bring the classic arcade game Dragon's Lair to the big screen. We are seeking your help to create a pitch to make Dragon’s Lair, the Movie through a Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign. Dragon's Lair continues to be loved by millions around the world since 1983, and fans have been waiting patiently to see Dirk and Daphne at it again. Join us in this adventure as we prepare to bring Dragon's Lair to a new generation.*

We’ve worked on '20' successful animation motion pictures, some of them “iconic”, The Secret of NIMH, An American Tail, The Land Before Time, All Dogs Go To Heaven and Anastasia to name a few.

It’s ironic that the project that has given us the greatest recognition is actually that video arcade game known as Dragon’s Lair, created back in the early 1980s. The game has an extremely loyal fan base - now estimated to be in the millions and with each generation it has picked up even more fans. And after 30 years, the game continues to sell as an app for smart phones, smart tablets and personal computers. Fans have been begging us to do a major motion picture. Just like Dirk the Daring, a character that just won’t die, the game marches on - it’s time to make the movie!"

We have many great rewards in store for you including, Digital Downloads, Blu-rays, DVDs, Original Signed books and Artwork, maquette's, Lapel Pins, signed posters, T-Shirts, Lanyards, and even a dinner with Don & Gary! Explore all our awards and perks and thank you for coming to our Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign.*

Land Before Time was the first movie I ever saw. I really hope this works out. I've been hoping for Bluth and Goldman to make another film for a long time.

As a DL fan, I have a hard time seeing it as a movie. I think Bluth's good movies are in the minority to his badly received ones but I that's just my impression,

What happens if you pledge but the movie doesn't get made?

My problem with this kickstarter is that it's almost like collateral for their pitch. You're paying for their proof of concept. Vs. something like that one Pixar animator doing his own animated horror short, that has something going on and has stuff to show, but needs additional help.

This deserves a reboot or continuation. What really needs to be a film is Space Ace. And I would actually want a live action take.

Secret of NIMH, Land Before Time, All Dogs Go to Heaven, and An American Tail are all time classics. I'm also a fan of Titan AE and Anastasia, plus the three games.

He's got my money.

I do think Space Ace would make a better movie though I would like animated.

The storyline in Dragon's Lair 3D shows potential. Just NOT Time Warp.

Well, good luck. I'm surprised that a major studio hasn't gotten involved yet.
