Anyone else feeling nostalgic ? I was thinking about Thanos (just watched Age of Ultron) which made me think of Adam Warlock, which lead to Jim Starlin, and then of course to his greatest creation.....Dreadstar.

Dreadstar was pretty much Star Wars (a galactic civil war on an even more epic scale and with actual magic instead of the Force) and also sexier and more violent (it also dealt with some tough issues like religious fundamentalism, child sexual abuse and PTSD in a mature and sensible way). If any of you haven't checked it out I highly recommend it.

Anyway, for those of you familiar with Dreadstar, what do you think ?

Is it worth bringing Jim Starlin's epic to life - maybe as an animated series, or a live action tv show or movies ?

The market is a bit saturated at the moment, so maybe it could be something for about 10 years from now.

I suppose Marvel would own the rights.

Cheers.
