Dreamcast 10th Anniversary 09/09/09

To me the Dreamcast is still an awesome console. It gave us perfect arcade ports of Marvel vs Capcom and Marvel vs Capcom 2, as well as Raymon 2, and Sonic Adventure which I loved.

I loved my Dreamcast. Sonic Adventures, MvC2, the best version of GTA2, Crazy Taxi. That little tamagachi like creature from Sonic that moved into the thing that plugged into the controller and you could take care of it.

It's a shame it died so young.

I remember a few months ago rumor was they were taking surveys on how many people still play the Dreamcast.

Ahh, Dreamcast. My favorite console ever. How could you go wrong with so many awesome and unique games?

Shenmue, Phantasy Star Online, Soul Calibur, Power Stone, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure, Code Veronica, MDK 2, Seaman, Rez, Chu Chu Rocket, Skies of Arcadia, Jet Grind Radio, Blue Stinger, Quake III, Hydro Thunder, Omikron, Space Channel 5, Marvel vs Capcom, Toy Commander, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, Samba de Amigo, the 2K sports series, etc...etc...

No other console has given me the breadth and depth of video game variety that the Dreamcast did. :heart:

I just hope Capcom makes a sequel to games like Project Justice and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

I still have mine. I really loved that it had suge a large and diverse library of great games, even from the very beginning and thats a bit rare for launching ssytems. Among my favorites were

i had one back in '99. the sonic adventures, phantasy star online, and shenmue were, imo, the system's greatest games.

Yeah I have the Dreamcast also. I thought it was good system with some really good games like Shenmue, Resident Evil Code Veronica and Marvel vs Capcom 2.

or at the very least release it on XBL and PSN. That would be rally fun to play with online multiplayer added. Capcom could evolve the series or spin it off to include more of its character. Kind of like its own version of Smash Bros. The Powerstone engine, gameplay structure is very similar, yet different and would lend itself to that very well
