Dumb question about YT vids in sigs

So I wanted to put a YouTube video in my sig...

I used the YouTube tags in my sig, but it says that I exceeded the 250 character limit for the signature.

But is says the 250 character limit is supposed to exclude BB code markup. That includes YT videos, right? I'd assume so since I've seen YT vids in sigs around here.

What is my dumbass doing wrong?

and everything after the = is what you put
so it would be this 5PSNL1qE6VY

and it will show this
