The day that MS and Sony mirror Nintendo, is the day gaming dies. I know MS and Sony are trying to capture some of this casual market, but at least they still put out titles that advance how games are viewed by the public. The more titles like Heavy Rain and Metal Gear Solid, the better off the industry will be.

I agree with you. My point is, one cannot fault Nintendo for bragging about their sales because they do not "appeal to hardcore gamers."

I think Sony will likely be the first system to find a middle ground, one that appeals to both hardcore and casual, but I also think its a while off.
