A couple years ago, a co-worker of mine invited me to go to a nearby mosque at the end of Ramadan because they throw huge parties with a ton of food once fasting is over. I didn't go, though. I didn't fast for the last month, so I felt like it would've been a dick move on my part to go.

I'm very interested in comparing Hebrew to the other Semitic Languages, including Arabic (and i'm learning Arabic for that reason).

Kane i had no idea you were muslim. I actually started reading the Koran (or is it quran?) yesterday. I finished the second sura today. Been meaning to pick it up and read it for years. While im not religious i feel its smart to be aware of what the book actually says rather than going by what uninformed hateful people say about the book. Anyways, Eid Mubarak.
