Elektra (The Hand and the Devil) fan film

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that I've finally begun work on my first Marvel fan film- Elektra (The Hand and the Devil). I mean don't get me wrong, I've made dozens of fan films in the past, but this will officially be my first Marvel fan film. Hope you guys like it, below are some pics and a link to the teaser. Looks just like how I picture Daredevil's costume in my mind. I liked the Daredevil movie, but the whole leather plastic look from that movie and the Batman movies always gets on my nerves just a bit.

Chris, I've got to say I'm pleased with this particular effort. I know their giving you hell on the Man Without Fear boards for being not so accurate, but honestly, I don't know what they were expecting except a direct adaptation, which I doubt would ever happen unless Frank Miller was doing Daredevil SIN CITY style.

Personally, I loved your variation on the whole situation. Even if it was merely a short. As far as I'm concerned this was far better than the movie MSJ made oh so long ago and really do hope that you do a follow-up or something else Marvel based on down the road.

Not a fan of the spandex look, but that's picking and choosing. It gets the job done.

thank you man. im glad you get it. its funny you've requested a follow up story, kim and i are actually working on a spin off script with elektra and another red masked assassin. more details on that soon enough. we're planning on shooting when it gets warmer out.

oh and as far as costumes go, on the next go around, elektra will definitely be sporting a new look, something similar to the way she looks in the comics now.

Welcome Chris. Color me surprised and eager. Never expected a sequel or spin-off of any kind, but I'm glad to hear it. I've been a fan of the spin-offs/sequels that you've produced thus far. Still can't get WORLD'S FINEST out of my mind between Catwoman, Power Girl and LiveWire, felt like a great combo of all three characters.

Looking at the costumes visually, you've definitely got them nailed though and I share the same opinion you do of the leather vs. spandex. Can't please everyone though sadly. Either way, it works for the film.

I'm on my 6th or 7th viewing at this point. Kind of lost track really.

it was a bit of a blunder. i finished it but made the fatal error of having an untalented person handle the camera while i stepped in to play john constantine. also, we had horror audio trouble and had to dub everything and it just didnt meet my standards. it was pretty decent, but not something im proud of, so i shelved it. maybe one day in the future ill put it online, but certainly not right now.
