Elliot Goldenthal's music is good but true fans will always prefer Danny Elfman's theme.

I love Goldenthal's music but its biggest flaw is that its not really Batman music. Its too light-hearted. Goldenthal's music would have worked best for Superman or Spider-Man or one of those light hearted superheroes.

I don't care for Goldenthal's Batman Forever and Batman & Robin scores at all.

His work on Aliens 3 was actually moody but you're right, his Batman theme is the weakest.

I like Goldenthal"s Forever score a lot. I think it's very underrated. I wish I could find the CD of his score.

I liked the score for BF. I wish they release the score to B&R as a commercial album. not a bootleg. the score is kind of the same in BF but there are some differences to it.
