Synopsis:

THE SECRETS UNDERNEATH - Batwoman (Javicia Leslie) is approached by Commander Kane (Dougray Scott) and Agent Moore (Meagan Tandy) to boost an infamous work of art that reveals the way to Coryana - and Kate. Despite her reservations, Luke (Camrus Johnson) and Mary (Nicole Kang) convince Ryan to take the assignment, causing tensions within the Bat-team to escalate. Meanwhile, as Alice (Rachel Skarsten) attempts to fulfill Safiyah's (guest star Shivaani Ghai) insidious request, she slowly discovers that she may not remember everything about her time on Coryana. I mean, she did this episode, Mary was treating it.

Good episode. Good to see ACAB still applies to the Crows. I do hope that they address the issue of private police more this season. I liked Evan Blake, though good god, they need a suit that is less Kick-Ass.

I really must have switched off this episode cause I didn’t notice that. But still at the end instead of staring at it she could have picked up the damn phone.

An exotic (kryptonite) wound would seem to require an exotic cure. So maybe that plot goal will somehow line up with the Safiyah/Alice business.

Though… the kryptonite bullet was simply designed to thwart the batsuit and kill its wearer. Would Safiyah necessarily know about K-blood poisoning and possible treatments?

Other speculation is that the poisoning will bestow certain “meta-human” powers to Ryan. Rather non-canonical. But then, so is Ryan.
