MTV has picked up its second drama series in less than two weeks.

The network handed out a 10-episode series order to Eye Candy on Tuesday, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Eye Candy is described as a cyber thriller based on R.L. Stine's (Goosebumps) best-seller. Victorious alum Victoria Justice stars as Lindy, a tech genius who, convinced by her roommate to begin online dating, starts to suspect that one of her mysterious suitors may be a deadly cyber stalker. When her friends at the elusive cyber police uncover a potential serial killer in Manhattan, all signs point to one of Lindy's dates. Teaming with a band of hackers, Lindy works to solve the murders while unleashing her own style of justice on the streets of New York.

I watched the first ep. :lmao: It's so bad, it's like some teen girls fantasy come to life, the GQ cops, the stereotype gay guy, the "funny" best friend with stupid dialogue, it's all here!

Oh, and she has a chubby nerd buddy who is her investigating sidekick and will do anything for her, but this poor mother****er isn't just in the friend zone, he's the mayor, lord, master and god of the friend zone, no way his sausagey paws are gonna be groping Miss Justice with all these "like totally cute" male models in the cast.

Victoria Justice is ok in it to be fair, but she avoids the clunky dialogue that the rest have to try and dispatch from their mouths. I mean GQ cop #1, who she hates, then loves, then bangs before he dies to her tragic screams all in 42 minutes, is not a bad actor from what I saw of him on that Submarine show, he should consider his character's death a mercy killing for his career.

Don't worry those teensters who were all set to ship them, it looks like she gets over it pretty quickly as she's slipping the tongue, literally. to GQ cop #2 in a few eps time, and seems to make out with several other model looking dudes in her quest to find the killer!

The shame is the idea is relevant and would be good for it's target audience to give some thought to if it weren't handled like total schlock.

I have young cousins who are girls so having a show with a young female lead that has a brain is good to see, but even if Justice has her own personal line writer it's not gonna save this shallow, brain dead dreck. I'll just have to loan them my Veronica Mars DVD's so they can be set a good example of how it's done!

I liked the first... 4 or so minutes I think it was? Before the time jump ahead.

It's all downhill from there.

Vic Justice will have to do a whole lot better than THIS piece of MTV s**t...

The bad guy is so many steps ahead of the good guys that he makes Professor Moriarty look like an amateur. :shr:

good... it DESERVED to die... just like Victoria Justice's so-called 'career'...

Awww, now we'll never get to see if these characters could get any stupider. :csad:

I didn't get good feels from this show so I didnt bother watching the first season. I was going to wait until it got a 2nd season.
