Family pranks 'too nice' 6-year-old with fake abduction

Back in my day, I just got a lecture from my mom and a whole lot of "very special episodes" of my favorite TV shows.

If they wanted to pull this kind of prank, it really didn't need to go any further than luring the kid into the truck and giving him a lecture about why he shouldn't have done that. Everything after that was major league "WTF" territory.

At 6 years old a kid is supposed to be able to trust their mother more than anyone else in their universe. This ****in *****! Why I'd like to:

Cause they're people. That's why I like animals. They tend not to screw you over just because they can.

Clearly he didn't get it from his parents. :csad:

I know that much. When I was in foster care, it was easier to deal with the cats than the other kids in the house.

To be honest, I am completely floored that anyone could possibly think that ANY PART of this plan was a good idea. It would be like teaching a child not to touch a lit match by tossing him into the fireplace.

The worst part is, when people do this kind of crap, they really are surprised that others are appalled at that behavior.

yeah you would think with as many people involved in this at least ONE of them would be like "Now hold on, let's just think about this for a second..."
