Fancy a 1989 Batman LCD game, Far from mint bargain at $2,500

Uh.....I think I have one of these stored away :S

Neat. I saw an R.A. Salvatore hardcover, The Two Swords, on Ebay. The seller wanted at least 100 bucks for it. His novels are great, and I do love them (Drizzt and his original Demon Wars saga)--but are essentially pulp fantasy.

Jeez, the starting bid's a grand. :wow: Whoever's trying to get rid of this has no idea of it's actual worth.

For that kind of money, the seller can keep it.

That reminds me, I bought a mighty morphin power ranger original morpher toy for 10 cents at Goodwill, then sold it for $100 on ebay.

hahah did you guys see the question/comment at the end?

Q: you must b kidding. Good luck
A: Thank you for the luck. Have a nice day.

Some of the prices on ebay man, I haven't really used ebay in a long time

Or that old infamous "start it at 1 dollar and charge hundreds of dollars for shipping" thing.

That doesn't work. There are limits on the shipping you can charge for some items and they now have fees for the entire cost of the item, sale price and shipping, whereas before it was just the sale price.

Ebay is pretty stupid. There's still people trying to sell the pre-order MK costumes for $20+ when you can buy them all together on Xbox live/PSN for 6 dollars or so. I offered a guy $1 for a reptile one (the only one I want that I didn`t get with my preorder) and explained to him that no one who isn`t a complete idiot is going to offer much more than that. Pretty sure he`s going to turn me down and write a nasty letter back, like he did to a buddy of mine.

You post stuff on Craigslist when you want to fleece the stupids.

He should try asking that much for it on Pawn Stars. :lmao:

The guy is a genius, because someone will buy it. Just watch.

The seller is in one of two classes -A) The smoke and mirrors type who lures in new/gullible bidders from time to time or B) The type who thinks any old collectible is worth its weight in gold.

Note: there is/was an international seller with one of those games, MIP, who is selling it for $32 + shipping. :woot:
