Farenheit 451 - Michael B. Jordan/Michael Shannon starring in HBO's Film Adaptation

Based on Ray Bradbury’s classic novel, the TV film depicts a future where media is an opiate, history is outlawed and “firemen” burn books.

Jordan will play Montag, a young fireman who forsakes his world, battles his mentor and struggles to regain his humanity. Shannon will play Beatty, Montag’s fireman captain and mentor.

No mention of a director. Here's hoping they snatch someone exciting.

Strange that this is a TV adaptation since they have two big name leads and the source material is so well-known. But it's HBO, so at least it should be good.

Not a fan of the teaser trailer. It does a fantastic job at making the firemen look cool even though they aren't the characters you're supposed to be rooting for.
