"Toy Story" writers Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen have revealed that they may be in talks to pen a film based on "Farmville", the 2009 farming simulation social network game that's popular on Facebook.
The pair told IGN that despite working on writing games at the moment, they "will continue writing movies. We are also working on several new and very exciting opportunities. We're in conversations with Zynga to do something with one of their brands. Can't really say too much on that front yet, but 'Old MacDonald' didn't have a factory, if you get our drift."
Zynga refused to comment and certainly there hasn't been any speculation as to a potential "Farmville" movie before now. The game itself various aspects of farm management such as land plowing, planting, harvesting crops and raising livestock.
