Basically what are your favorite moments/ scenes in a MARVEL film?

------------------------------

Just to start off with in DD (DC), my second favorite MARVEL film of all time...

I love the scene when Matt comes back to his apartment and we see him bruised and having to take care of himself. It's the most gritty and realistic portrayl of what a hero would look like after a fight in any MARVEL film so far.

Although I didn't really think X3 was great, my favorite X-Men scene is actually from X3. The whole X-Men universe as a metaphor for people who are different. The scene that that comes across most and in a simple direct way is when...

At the beginning of X3, Waren III is in the bathroom trying to cut off his wings afraid that his father will walk in and discover that he is a mutant.

For me personally that is the most emotional scene dealing with the metaphor of a 'difference' (whatever that may be) in all of the X-Men films. Because it carries a certain sense of dark realism with it.

The opening scene of X-Men featuring Magneto.

the spidey mj upside down kiss[i wouldn'tmind getting a kiss from kirsten dunst myself]
the spider man apriciateion day secne where the webhead slaps fans hands as he swings in

From the FF.

Debbie puts her engagement ring on the ground.

The Thing walks over and bends down to pick it up. Because of his huge fingers he can't pick it up off the ground. After struggling for a bit. Reed bends down, picks it up and places it in Ben's hand.

Ok, from each movie..

X-Men - It's been a while since I saw this movie, so I'm not remembering a lot of it...so probably the scene with a young Magneto at the death camp

X2 - Nightcrawler trying to assassinate the president, and the first time we see Colossus

X-Men: The Last Stand - "I'm the Juggernaut, *****!" mainly for the comedy factor...I liked the Fastball Special, too.

Spider-Man - Goblin impaling himself

Spider-Man 2 - Definitely the fights with Doc Ock

Spider-Man 3 - I liked the first Peter/Harry fight

Blade - Rave scene

Blade II - The first scene pitting the reapers against Blade and co.

Blade Trinity - The first scene involving Jessica Biel killing vampires.

Daredevil - I enjoy the opening shot with Daredevil hanging on the cross

Elektra - The beginning, with Elektra being an assassin instead of....whatever she was the rest of the film

The Punisher - The scene where he takes out the room full of guys before getting to the Saints...and the scene where he does Jimmy Weeks in...

Ghost Rider - "Ghost Riders in the Sky" sums this one up...western themes rock.

Hulk - The desert fight scene, and the dog fight

Fantastic Four - The first time we hear "Flame on!"

Spider-man 3: "Aw look at little goblin jr, you wanna cry? Then Pete deflects the bomb back at Harry classic (in theaters everyone was like DAMMN)

Spiderman: parker wakes up to sixpack abs lol, upside down kiss with mj (she was definitely cold, cause her headlights were on lol)

Spiderman 2: Spiderman vs. Doc ock alongside the building with Aunt May clinging for dearlife

1) Peter Parker climbing the wall for the first time in SM 1. After nearly a twenty year wait for a Spider-Man movie, i completely freaked out when i saw that scene. :word:

2) Peter Parker web-swinging for the first time. In pursuit of Uncle Ben's (alleged) killer, we see Peter all awkward and cautious, then slowly get the hang of it...that was pure Sam Raimi gold.

3) Blade vs Deacon Frost, final battle. After watching that snot-nosed little bastard strut around for nearly two hours, i was MORE than ready to watch Blade kick his ass. :woot: Excellent fight scene...

4) Spidey vs Doc Ock on the clocktower/runaway train...easily the best superhero fight scene of all time, in my humble opinion...

5) From X-Men 1, right after Wolverines battle with Mystique...he re-joins Cyclops and Storm, who arent exactly sure if he's the real Wolverine:

Logan: "Whoa, it's me!"

Scott: 'Prove it."

Logan: "Um...you're a dick?"

Scott: "...ok"

That was hysterical. :woot:

My top five.

Here I've chosen both my favorite scene and my favorite line or bit of dialogue.

-------------------------
Cop: Put the knifes down and place your hands on your head.
Logan: I can't.

X3:
Logan confronting Dark Pheonix
-------------------------
Scott: Not everyone heals as fast as you, Logan.

Uncle Ben's Death/Chasing the Thug
--------------------------
MJ: Has he mentioned me?
Peter: Yeah.
MJ: What'd he say?
Peter: Uh... I said... he asked me what I thought about you.
MJ: And what did you say?
Peter: I said... uh...?Spiderman", I said uh...?The great thing about MJ is... when you look in her eyes and she's looking back in yours... everything... feels... not quite normal. Because you feel stronger and weaker at the same time. You feel excited and at the same time, terrified. The truth is... you don't know what you feel except you know what kind of man you want to be. It's as if you've reached the unreachable and you weren't ready for it."
MJ: You said that?
Peter: Well...something like that...

Spiderman 2:
Train Battle
----------------
Peter: High...
MJ: High...
Peter: This is...really heavy.

Spiderman 3:
Peter abandons the symbiote
-----------------

[turns to Hoffman]
J. Jonah Jameson: Continue.
Miss Brant: [beeps on phone and shakes desk again] Time to take your pill.
Miss Brant: BEEP! Not that one.
Miss Brant: BEEP! Not that one.
J. Jonah Jameson: [points to jar of pills]
Miss Brant: [nods] BEEP! Drink plenty of water!
J. Jonah Jameson: [sigh] Thank you...

cracknatics? whats THAT?

my fault, cracknastics: means its crack (not the drug but meaning really good) For example: Yo did you see Spider-Man 3 yet? >> Yea that ish was crack or cracknastics.

My favorite scenes of a Marvel film are:

Daredevil (Director's cut): The bar fight, Matt returns to his apartment and the part with the guardian devil monologue.

Spiderman 1: I really liked the web swinging at the end and spidey landing in the american flag pole, even though i'm not american I was still looking at it thinking "hell yeah".

The Punisher: The final scenes, where Frank is about to shoot himself but thinks about his wife and son. The mologue at the ending was a convincing reason to let the punisher do his job.

X-men 1: When wolverine pops his claws for the first time.

x-men united
when strykers goon squad attacks the xaivier shcool and logan see them shooting the students[mutants or not basically defenseless kids at that pointhis attitude"you wanna shoot some?TRY SHOOTING ME"

My favorite scene is the "there's a hero in all of us" monologue by Aunt May in Spider-Man 2. Well acted, poignant and meaningful to the overall arc of the movie.

Well, of course there's the El-Train fight with Doc Ock in SM2, and Wolverine battling Stryker's men in X2. But those are obvious. What else...Let's start with the first two Spidey movies.
From the first Spider-Man:
-"I missed the part where that's my problem." Peter lets the burglar go, and the reveal later. A new revenge angle is added to the old origin story; I heard people in the audience who sounded glad Peter let the guy go, and I smiled to myself that they were in for a shock. When the light hits the burglar's face, it was brilliant seeing the story Stan came up with 40 years ago was still so effective.
-The Thanksgiving scene. So intense, when May slaps Norman's hand, Norman sharpens the knife, and then notices the cut on Peter's arm.
In Spider-Man 2:
-Doc Ock's arms slaughter all the doctors. Classic Raimi.
-Spidey rescuing Aunt May from Doc Ock. Can't believe they worked that in there.
-Peter's confession to May about his role in Uncle Ben's death. So intense. If only Spider-Man 3 had a scene so genuinely intense and emotionally rich.
-"Go get 'em, Tiger" at the end. I actually cheered.
