Basically what are your favorite moments/ scenes in a MARVEL film?
------------------------------
Just to start off with in DD (DC), my second favorite MARVEL film of all time...
I love the scene when Matt comes back to his apartment and we see him bruised and having to take care of himself. It's the most gritty and realistic portrayl of what a hero would look like after a fight in any MARVEL film so far.
Although I didn't really think X3 was great, my favorite X-Men scene is actually from X3. The whole X-Men universe as a metaphor for people who are different. The scene that that comes across most and in a simple direct way is when...
At the beginning of X3, Waren III is in the bathroom trying to cut off his wings afraid that his father will walk in and discover that he is a mutant.
For me personally that is the most emotional scene dealing with the metaphor of a 'difference' (whatever that may be) in all of the X-Men films. Because it carries a certain sense of dark realism with it.
