Which version of this revolutionary OS is your favorite? (if you don't have a Mac, choose which one you think sounds the coolest)

My fave version is Windows XP for the PC. Macs suck!

Haven’t owned a Mac yet, I plan on getting one either late this year or early next. So leopard will be my first real experience with one.

Every version of the OS just gets better and better. I'm eager to get my hands on Leopard in October.

I'd rather go without a computer than use a PC ever again. :down

Oh, and to answer the question: whichever is newest.

Are you just going to buy the software or a new computer? Please tell me it’s easier to install a new OS on a Mac. When I tried to upgrade to Vista on my old XP it almost drove me crazy.

I'll just upgrade the OS on my current boxes. I haven't had any real reason to upgrade my PowerPC based systems. And, yes, it's easy as pie to upgrade a Mac.

Leopard's already leaked onto the Internet, I'd upgrade to it, but my Processor isn't powerful enough I'm currently on a 500 MHz 512 MB Ram Powerbook Wallstreet :( I can officially run Jaguar but with Post X Facto I can run Tiger.

Do you have a USB flash drive? Put it on that and keep it for later. :o

To upgrade a Mac you basicly insert the disc click install and thats it.

So, three or four years from now when there’s something to replace leopard I’ll just have to pop the disk in like it’s a normal piece of software? :woot: That’s awesome, so except for the occasional hardware update I won’t have to replace the shell for just about forever? I like the sound of that!

At the moment I'm rocking 10.4.7, it's alright by me.

Yeah my friend has an Old World Rom mac called a Beige from like 1994 and he is rockin' 10.4.7.

So, is there a big enough difference between a Macbook and a Macbook pro for me to pay the thousand dollar difference? I’m just going to use it for surfing the web and crap, but it is going to be my primary computer.

The Pro is bigger and more durable, but I don't think your gonna be rock climbing with the god damn thing so go with the Macbook
