:mrk::mrk::mrk::mrk:....Ahem *Regains composure*

For me;

- Rey Scavenging the crashed Star Destroyer

- Hand holding Leia :hrt:

- The amazing X-Wing vs TIE's aerial dogfight action

- The Falcon vs TIE chase on Jakku.

Needed more BB-8. :oldrazz:

Not sure we need this thread, we talking about it in the general thread already lol

I'm a sucker for legions of stormtroopers and Sith Lords with red lightsabers. :sly:

They are not Sith Lords, but Knights of Ren. That was confirmed by JJ in the EW article.

But yes that is one of my favorite shots. That and Kylo and Finn ready to show down.

This thread is too much...the feels...

I didn't think they could top the second teaser but this...

This couldn't be better...Pure heaven.

Okay I'm going to watch it 500 more times then post my top ones.

The bit that sent chills was when Finn, armed with a blaster, walked past some other guy and turned around to get a good look at him. The rendition of the theme music in that moment felt majestic and awe inspiring. And the music also helped elevate the moment when Luke put his hand on R2. Those are the two moments that I immediately rewound to.

My favorite parts:
* Kylo Ren actually having a conversation with Vader's skull, Hamlet-style
* Finn talking about how he was raised to fight, but doesn't have anything to fight FOR (makes me wonder if he's a Clone of some kind, which would be awesome)
* The voiceover (it's definitely Lupita's character, Maz Kanata, talking, and I can't wait to see her in action come December, and to find out who she's actually talking TO)
* Han getting his Obi-Wan Kenobi on talking about the Dark Side and the Jedi

Rey: "There were stories about what happened."

Han: "It's true. All of it. The Dark Side. The Jedi. They're real."

Also love the shot of the Knights of Ren in the storm.

He isnt a clone. Based on Star Wars Rebels, sormtroopers are recruited at a young age.

There were plenty of great moments, but I'm almost willing to say close thread.

Treating the Galactic Civil War like a myth, having Han confirm what happened...it doesn't get any better than that. The emotion of that moment alone is just extraordinary.

I'm not a big star wars fan. The Ariel battles with those ships/jets looked insane.

For the record, it's not just that line that makes me think Finn might be a Clone of some kind; it's also the stuff we found out about his character last month.

In one of the Rebels book, a character named Commandant Hux (hint hint) appears and his plan is to train stormtroopers from birth similar, he points out, to how the Jedi and Clones did.

-Rey gazing at the ship in the distance

-"I will finish.....what you started" / Poe Damaron screaming

-Several musical moments thoughout. Very interesting reworking of the classic themes.

-Knights of Ren

-"It's true....all of it"

-Finn & Poe at a rebel base

-Finn & Kylo Ren in the forest. Got me so pumped.

I really have to say that they used a lot of the same shots as previous trailers, we still have so, so much footage we have not even glimpsed yet.

My guess now is that he was recruited/abducted by the First Order at a young age and indoctrinated. Which falls in line with the rumors that came up a few weeks ago. This would also mean he does have or doesn't remember his actual name. The name Finn being based on his Stormtrooper serial number.

Poor bastard.:(

This x1000000.

Never forget.

Rey descending the rope. Very Indiana Jones. Loved it.

He goes from that to squaring off against Kylo Ren and presumably helping the Resistance to take down the First Order. I can't wait to see that journey.

Knights of Ren easily. Following that, the scene where an X-Wing takes out a Stormtrooper on the ground, and lastly, the Kylo vs. Finn shot at the end.
