No details yet on whether or not this title is being released on Blu Ray or HD-DVD.

Looks like they aren't going to wait for the good Christmas run like they had last time......*shakes head*

DVD's do come out quicker anymore.

Hopefully the US is a 2 disc also (don't want to wait for an EE to get all the good features like with FF).

I would almost bet money that this is not a DC or EE version of the movie....it will simply be the theatrical cut. Wal-mart got a 2 disc version last time as well.....

Yeah, but the 2nd disc was not really a real second disc.

I want a pure 2-disc release for the movie. I doubt we get an EE until the SS movie or FF3 (assuming it happens) though.

I bet the 2-disc is exactly what Wal-mart got......one disc with the theatrical cut and few extras, and then a "making of........."

I would be disappointed :(

Nice find.
Hopefully there won't be any double dipping. And it would be nice if everyone around the world got the same content on their dvds (the USA got shafted with X3).

Cool.....I'm looking forward to it....

^^ Does the double pack include the extended FF1 edition? That is the only question I want answered.

What did the US not get on the X3 DVD?

Also, I hope we get a pure 2-disc like it seems the UK is getting.

It will probably be around the same time.....week before probably....

why are the European releases always so much better than the U.S. ones? The market is here but we always get the ****ty ones.

Because we can afford to double dip DVD's more.

I believe that is the perception (or at least close enough) and it's why I won't be bothering with the October release and waiting for the seemingly inevitable Extended/Director's Cut. Sucks because I'd like to add it to my library and it'll take a while for another version to be released, but it takes a lot to get me to double dip.

so on oct 22 htere is a single disc and a double disc being released at the same time? i bet the double disc is the extended.

I don't mean to be so skeptical, but the same thing happened with the last DVD, and it wasn't an extended cut....

I said it before. This is 1 movie they should not double dip on. They need to pack everything in this release. Especially with a Surfer movie in the works.
