For those that don't know Quantum computers store information on individual atoms as opposed to traditional computers storing information on transistors. What's wrong with technology advancing fast? Apart from the TV I bought last month being outdated and 200 quid cheaper by the end of the year?

First off, flying cars would be an incredibly stupid and dangerous invention, which means I'm unsure of how good a thing they'd be. On one hand, you have the same idiots that currently drive badly in two dimensions and put them in three. On the other hand, they'll be lowering the population significantly.

And the issue that I have with it advancing so fast is that there's no stable period of the same thing. Compare this to Marvel and DC's constant events each year, there's no time to just breathe and live with the status quo because Frog forbid that you fall behind. It's just too damn fast.
