X3 was disapointing but not completelly terrible, but Origins? That s*** deserves to be buried and forgoten.

Well those two and the other three good X-Men movies don't exist in the alternate/new timeline. Yes they made it look like X3/Origins are invalid now because the OT cast are now in a different timeline, but for the people who are celebrating about this, don't forget X2/TW are invalid too if you think about it.

I guess some things that happened in X1 still counts, since Rogue still has her white streaks so I guess the event that took place in Liberty City still happened. My speculation is Jean didn't die in X2, Jean didn't go dark and she didn't kill Cyclops and even if the cure existed and it was also temporary. Wolverine didn't have to go kill Jean and I guess he never left the X-Men and go to Japan.

Truth. I'm mildly satisfied to see the producers admit their mistakes. Hopefully the series won't dip like that again.

I happily count XMO out,but IMO X3 is still relevant and I'll watch it in a future movie marathon.

She's just saying those two to catch the attention of the haters. In reality, going forward all of the films previous are erased. DOFP pulls a NuTrek. And of course, it seems the haters are still trying to think that X1/2 still count, but they're now as irrelevent as X3 and Origins.

Considering my feelings on nutrek It may be time for me to give up on X-Men films after DOFP.

I am officially done with Nutrek after both into Darkness and them hiring orci to direct next film.

Both X-Men and star trek as well as terminator should just reboot without this alternate timeline stuff.
