Nothing stays dead
Anyway, not really a fan of Frasier but coo
Well as pointed out... He has a son who would be grown now and in the intervening years we don't know what twists and turns his relationship with Niles, Daphne and Roz have taken.Oh God no. The main theme of the original was Frasier reconnecting with his family, mainly his Dad. It's missing that major component now.
He was every mother's gay son in the 2000's.If Frederick is in the mix, they better not recast. Trevor Einhorn was great on The Magicians.

The last time we saw Dr. Frasier Crane, he was landing at a Chicago airport in the series finale of NBC’s Frasier. As we await the Paramount Plus revival of the Emmy-laden sitcom, its once and future star gave a few hints about the upcoming series that follows the man Kelsey Grammer calls “the George Bailey of Television.”
In an interview on WNBC New York, Grammer offered some detail-challenged clues on what viewers can expect from the revival. He said the character, who moved from Boston to Seattle for the original series, will end up in another new place. “He thinks he’s gonna go off and do one thing, and sure enough, his life takes him in another direction,” Grammer said of the character he played for 20 consecutive TV seasons. “And he ends up rich beyond his dreams.”
I am actually semi-interested to see a revival that isn’t trying to directly recreate the conditions of the original series.
If this takes Frasier to a different place and a different cast of characters, just like the original took him away from Boston and Cheers and dropped him with his family in Seattle, it might be really interesting.
I feel like, unlike Roseanne, Grammer is probably a little more apt to understand that this character isn’t actually him and won’t try to force anything that doesn’t really gel with the previous 20 years of that character.
At least, I would hope…
Roseanne was something else. She went from being this woman with deep personal issues who had very progressive beliefs in the 90's to what we know now. Grammar has always been a Republican who didn't flaunt it.His co-star David Hyde Pierce is LGBT, and he has a lot of love for David, so I doubt he wants to cause trouble with him.
Recent history has cast quite a lot of doubt on the validity of this statement, but that’s really a discussion for another thread. You know, someone can be Republican and may very well be a good person. And not a Trumper. lol
Hell, they even can have a sense of humor about the whole thing. Don’t judge their party. Judge their actions. And the people who continue to work with them.
