I'm glad this show got canceled, because if it didn't, then who knows what we'd have now. Who knows where Rogen and Franco's careers would have been? Who knows if Apatow would have moved on to directing movies? Everything happens for a reason.
As for Gossip Girl, it isn't canceled because the president of The CW is so (stupidly) set on making The CW appeal to teenage girl demographic, that Gossip Girl will stay along with more teen dramas, 90210, One Tree Hill, and others. It's also the reason why they will drop WWE Smackdown (their highest rated show), because it does not appeal to the teenage female audience. That last line are true words from the president of The CW, by the way.
