Armie Hammer Joins Wheatleys Freakshift

Following their collaboration together in this months Free Fire, actor Armie Hammer is re-teaming with British director Ben Wheatley for the action thriller Freakshift for Rook Films, Riverstone Pictures and Film4.
The story follows a band of misfit cops, led by Alicia Vikanders character, who hunt down and kill nocturnal underground monsters. Hammer plays her love interest.
Wheatley has described the film essentially as women with shotguns vs. giant crabs. Wheatley wrote the script with Amy Jump while Andrew Starke produces.
