Free Comic Book Database?

Does anyone know of, or is able to recommend, a good free comic book database to download? I have been collecting on and off for almost 20 years and would like to be able to view my collection on screen, preferably with cover art. Any help would be appreciated.

Depending on what kind of comics you mean, I think this is generally frowned upon, especially around here.
