Lionsgate Is "Expecting" A Baby

Lionsgate and Phoenix Pictures are teaming for a feature film adaptation of Heidi Murkoff's non-fiction pregnancy guidebook series "What to Expect When You're Expecting" says The Hollywood Reporter.
The first in the series was published in 1984 and has gone on to sell between 14 to 20 million copies. There was once claims that up to 93% of expectant American moms had read the book.
The film version will follow the relationships of seven couples as they experience the thrills, terrors, surprises, aches and pains of preparing to embark on life's biggest journey, parenthood.
Heather Hach ("Freaky Friday"), who is nine months pregnant, will write the adaptation. David Thwaites, Mike Medavoy and Arnie Messer will produce.
