While i agree with what you say, i don't think divorce has much to do with it as much as the "overbearing mother/absent father" does. Because otherwise 50% of people between the ages of 1-30 will now be gay... (that's if 100% of that takes i guess... but even still half of that means 25% of the population will be gay in the future... and i don't see that happening either....)THANK YOU!
Evolutionarily speaking, nothing happens, no mutation occurs purely from nature or from nurture.
It's always a combination of the two.
Some environments and lifestyles will make you a higher candidate for certain things. Per example, being Native American makes it much likelier that you'll end up with an alcohol and drug addiction problem. They're genetically susceptible to it.
Fractured homes make it likelier for certain things to occur within a person. Being gay could possibly be one of them.
But that doesn't guarantee it.
That's why genetics taking a zang where they should zing comes in.
Evolution and genes. Crazy little things, aren't they?
there's also the chance an increase of homosexuality could be happening completely out of nature. Nature has a way of balancing itself out, and lets face it.. this planet is getting over populated. What better way for nature to reduce population ?
