aww man seriously? I thought that the series was getting better. The 100 point revival thing was a great plot point to me. You can either chose to have to be taken out the game or you can revive someone and have to get 100 points all over again. But I can see your point too. But if you think about it there would be no suspense withought the revival thing.....everyone (sane)would probably choose to leave.

Kei's death was kinda cool to me. It showed how dangerous it is to have ties to the world of Gantz.

Meh the guy was the only worth while character left imo. And once he was gone so was my love for the series. And I can see how you might like the revival stuff, but for me it just took away the drama of Nishi and Katos deaths. Hell really all of the deaths. Whos to say Kishimoto won't come back? Or Sei(my second favorite character in the series btw). The concept of death become as serious as DBZ(no offence to it, but yeah death meant nothing there except in future Trunks timeline which is why I felt that movie had the most emotion out of any DBZ saga.) But basically with the ultra realism they try to blend with sci-fi crainess in gantz I guess I just expected dead to mean dead. To take away from that is to take away from the realism that I loved about the series(y'know besides the alien stuff).

I actually didn't like it all that much either at first. Before I knew it I was hooked. Its pretty good.

Unfortunatly I never saw the manga but I do own the DVD series, its quite a gem, although I'm guessing the manga would be better as is always the case.

No....for this one I definately prefer the anime, even with its alternate ending.

I mean if you really watch it, the anime developes alot of the characters in ways the manga did not. But thats just my two cents.g

Well, actually, the way I should have phraised it is; the anime actually has an ending while the mangas still going. Though the animes ending is ambiguous and left a couple of people pissed off. I liked it though. It leaves you wondering like the ending to CowBoy beebop.
