I stumbled upon this article today. I've always known about strange acts of kindness between enemies during times of war, but for some reason, this particular story really spoke to me, and I thought I'd share the wealth.

To try and summarize it would do it an injustice, as it's actually quite well written, but it's about what happened between an American and German pilot one fateful day during WWII.

It just goes to show that there can be honor & kindness even in times of war.
 
It's a fantastic story for sure.
 
Yeah, I started to choke up near the end - which was awkward since I'm at work, lol.
 
I'll find a way to hate on this after I...um....get this thing out of my eye.
 
It's because they have honor. Something most people in the world lack today.
