I dunno... I'm not convinced. I think Steve Carrell is awesome, but the little phone gag kinda put me off. Just didn't strike me as even a little bit funny, despite the obvious silliness.

I'm sure on the DVD they'll have multiple takes of that scene.

Wait for the reviews, but looks somewhat promising.

I think some version of the cone of silence was in that scene where the chief tells max that he is the new agent. Some of the other agents seems to have trouble hearing what he says
