Based on the characters of Belgian comics writer and artist Peyo, the movie was described at the time as a comedic, musical adventure “that sets out to answer one of life’s biggest questions: What is a Smurf?” The film, set to be released on Feb. 14, 2025, is being directed by Chris Miller (Puss in Boots) with co-director Matt Landon.

Corden a **** magnet. Ever since Cats. We have to get rid of him. He was good on Doctor Who and in Into The Woods, but most everything else since has been junk AT BEST.

The casting choices are… well, you know… but between this and Garfield, it is nice that we seem to be moving away from cartoon adaptations with a live action component and just letting animated **** be animated.
