So who are everyone's casting choices for characters that may appear in GOTG2? A few of mine:

Adam Warlock/The Magus- Jude Law
Mantis- Olivia Wilde
Bug- Sharlto Copley

When did Mantis become white? This is a perfect chance for Marvel to mix up the ethnicity a bit in the MCU.

I like the suggestion of Jamie Chung that I have seen before.

Um what? Was that really necessary? When did she become any other race? She's green from what I've seen. She could be played by anyone. Although a green Olivia Wilde would be awesome.

Really? I've read almost everything cosmic and I never knew or possibly forgot that Mantis was from Earth. *questions sanity* But yea, that makes sense... I always thought she was drawn with East Asian features. An Asian actress for Mantis would be a no brainer though.

How about Kevin Bacon for Star Lords daddy, Starfox?

I think that would be beyond clever. They could even add in Peter doing a little double take, like "don't I know you?".

Afterall, Kevin Bacon is "a legiondary hero who saved the people who had sticks up their butts"!

Kevin Bacon as Quill's Father would be outstanding LOL.

I think Eva Green should 100% play Lady Death. Her role on Penny Dreadful shows that she undoubtedly has the range for the role, and she has loads of chemistry with Brolin in Sin City: ADTKF so it should be a no-brainer imo.

Adam Warlock/Magus' a bit harder to cast. Jude Law is an inspired choice, but my choice would be Josh Hartnett, after the performance he turned in, in Penny Dreadful, his re-invigorated interest in doing comic book movies, and his look.

I would also cast Jensen Ackles as Richard Ryder, but it doesn't seem he's in the plans at this point, with what Gunn said .

For Mantis, either Olivia Wilde or Summer Glau would be fine.

Jessica Chastain wants to be a super hero. What about Angela?

I'm not sure I dig the concept of Angela in the MCU just yet. I mean, they just got the character... I'd rather wait for the character to simmer a while in the comics and get some iconic story arcs before introducing her into the MCU. Jessica Chastain would, however, be my #1 choice for Carol Danvers at this point.

I want EMily Blunt for Carol Danvers Otherwise I would be all over Chastain as Captain Marvel.
