I don't think we've determined the importance (if any) of the voting districts, so I think it'll be cool to post our assignments here once we're submitted and see if there's any pattern to them.

I'm in zip code 91732 (30 miles east of LA) and was assigned to Jerold.

So far here's the list

  • Los Angeles - Jerold
  • Virginia - Meadows
  • Maryland - Endsbury
  • NW England - West Harlow

When I figure out exactly what I'm going to do for my Dent Campaign... I'll let ya know what district I get. I'm in Anaheim, Ca.

Who is going to Wizard World LA this weekend? Maybe we could all do something then.

Okay this may make me sound dumb but what is Wizard World!?!?

Comics convention that is affiliated with several cities. Chicago and LA definitely have one every year, and I think NYC does too.

They're all basically smaller versions of the massive San Diego Comic Con.

And yeah, Wizard World LA is just BEGGING for some Dent supporter love. :applaud I won't be going, but I can drive downtown in case you guys wanna go out and do something.

Ooo that sounds cool....I do love the Comic Con! That would be a good place to "campaign"

Yeah the convention sounds good, Batt do you have any specific details on the con?

I havent submitted anything yet, bu Anita how about you update the top post with a list of Districts and corresponding real world locations. So far Ive seen that:
-LA is Jerold
-Virginia is Meadows
-Maryland is Endsbury
-England is West Harlow

I'm 40 miles SW of Chicago, and I was assigned District 9, South City Park.

I just noticed going to the site when you click on someone's picture a district lights up. Looking at the locations of the pictures and the various districts, it seems random. I don't think there's any pattern to it, but I could be wrong.

For instance, someone with a location in Seattle had the same voting district (West Harlow) as the individual on here from England.

So wait...when you submit something to the site you get assigned to a district? Is that how it works? I am in Chicago (with the joker cake phone :-) ) So I better submit something soon I'm guessing.

Clarification please from someone>!>/?!

How do we know that the certain districts are cities?

i live near houston texas :(...precisely i live in kemah (near friendswood and webster)

what am i ?!

Here's the line from the email I received from IBIHD when they posted my picture (they apparently didn't accept the previous video I sent):

"We have noted that your address puts you in the following voting district: South City Park"

Hmm. It would appear to be random, but it seems like too much thought was put into it for nothing to come of it...interesting....

Huh, I actually didn't notice that. So I suppose we could actually go through them one at a time and see if there's a pattern. :oldrazz:

Supposedly, yeah. They specifically mention the association between your address and a voting district.

But they also could just be making stuff up. :oldrazz:

Do you mean specifics about the con itself or what to do for The Harvey Dent Campaign?

im in dallas...i was placed in the meadows...:) "the ultimate ticket"

I just went through the entire list (yeah, I'm bored) and there sorta kinda seems to be a pattern. Some cities have multiple representatives, and most of them are placed in the same district. (They messed up on two - Chicago and LA)

Who knows how they're doing this, LOL.

how quickly did everyone else get an email back once they submitted?

EDIT: i just got one saying they are currently reviewing my submission. how much longer until the next email?

You should get a confirmation email right away. When/if it's posted, they'll send you another email. Someone here says it took less than an hour. I submitted mine at midnight last night and it was posted early this morning.
