I fortunately don't remember it. But one could argue that circumcision is for hygienic purposes. The same could be said with ear cropping, as pricked up ears allow for more air flow and gives way to less infections.

Oh, I'm not anti-circumcision or anything. I like mine. They did a good job, except now it's two colors. I'm sure it hurt like hell. My parents told me I was screaming.

I also have a beagle, so I know all about ear troubles from large ear-flaps.
