Guillaume Canet's Blood Ties

Adapted from a French novel Les Liens Du Sang and co-scripted by Canet & James Gray. Blood Ties centers on two brothers, on either side of the law, who face off over organized crime in Brooklyn during the 1970s. The film stars Clive Owen, Billy Crudup, Marion Cotillard, Mila Kunis, Zoe Saldana, Matthias Schoenaerts, Noah Emmerich, Lili Taylor, Domenick Lombardozzi and James Caan.

With Canet behind the camera and a talent-filled cast, I am definitely psyched to see this. Also, I am glad that Matthias Schoenaerts will be making his Hollywood debut with this film. After Rundskop (Bullhead), I can't wait to see more of him.

I f***ing LOVE Guillaume Canet. The considerable talent he displayed in adapting Tell No One pretty much cemented his title as my French husband. I even loved Little White Lies despite the ending.

Anyhoo, I liked the French version of this movie (which Canet himself starred in), so I am DEFINITELY there for this.
