Gullibility

Shoot, I don't think it's working like it used to work.

Yeah, vb3 sets it up so each logout is individual. Sucks. Crappy color scheme, stupid customized user links. :down

Bastards, ruined my prank. I thought the fake thread-linnk mask was a nice touch though.

I usually fall for small stuff, like some guy claiming to need $5 to fill a jerry can because he's out of gas.

I don't fall for large cons, like sending my bank information to Nigeria, because somo prince or general needs to leave the country and will give me 30% of his $15 million dollar fortune.

So many people fall for the easiest stuff. What did you fall for that you should have seen coming?

I think I speak for all men when we were younger and more stupid but stating to ourselves that "Hey, she just wants to be friends. I can handle this. I rather have her as a friend than nothing at all."

Who were we fooling?

I actually believed that Hunter S. Thompson killed himself for a long time. :o

I'm disappointed. I was expecting a detailed story about a trick involving some sort of illegal substance and heinous sex acts :down

That never happened to me.

A girl said to me "Look someone wrote gullible on the ceiling."

I am not gullible on much (kind of cynical), but I give people money all the time when I am asked on the street. I cna tell when someone is staright up lying and just trying to get money for drugs or liquor (it is pretty easy to tell an addict). However, sometimes people tell a pretty compelling story of trouble and it is too hard to tell if it is BS or not. So, I just give them a few bucks anyhow. I figure for every lie I fall for, there is at least one truthful person who also gets a little help from me. Granted, I am not giving anyone more than a few bucks or a 10 spot (if there is a child involved and you can really tell that these people have hit a very hard time). So, I figure it is worth the risk of someone pulling one over on me because I always have a few dollars to give away here and there that really may help someone a lot more than I would use the extra couple of bucks.

Did you know that the word gullible is not in the dictionary?

me too :(

I think a lot of people's initial reaction is, "WTF, really?!" until they realize what the word means.

Your foot is the length of your forearm. :)

That one is true for me (I thought it was for most people )

But if you want a girl to show off her boobahs, tell her she can't touch her elbows behind her back. She'll try to prove she can. :D

^I actually believe that would work on the smartest of women. :o I'll try it today.

This homeless guy asked me for money the other day.
I was about to give it to him and then I thought he was going to use it on drugs or alcohol.
And then I thought, that's what I'm going to use it on.
Why am I judging this poor bastard.
People love to judge homeless guys. Like if you give them money they're just going to waste it.
Well, he lives in a box, what do you want him to do? Save it up and buy a wall unit?
Take a little run to the store for a throw rug and a CD rack? He's homeless.
