She'll do it eventually. Many of these weatherpeople are in their position by default. Like, at NBC (where I work) we have this weather guy in the morning named Lonnie Quinn. The guy is a wannabe actor and he basically got the job because he's a pilot, so that's apparently good enough to qualify you for the job. So, don't be surprised if you see John Travolta doing weather one day.

I mean, geez, even David Letterman was a weatherman at one point in his career.
