Yeah, even walked through the house. It's gonna be great.

The 20th anniversary with this year, and there's only gonna be 1 Best of type street and house.

No Rocky Horror Picture Show this year though; I couldn't care less, but I understood people being disappointed, especially considering Brian Bushwood is who's replacing their venue.

We aren't getting Rocky Horror Picture Show either, they say it wasn't very popular which is shocking considering it's in Hollywood, but whatevs. I'm just glad we're finally getting an original maze, even if it's being shoehorned into the year round haunted house.

I've never been to HHN. Is it like a bunch of haunted houses, or...?

It's haunted houses, scarezones, a Bill & Ted show, and usually another show or two at Universal Studios. It's their Halloween themed event.

I know what it is - all of my friends go for Halloween every year, but I wasn't sure what actually happened inside the park during HHN.

Oh, sorry. I meant... I know what it is on a basic level (like what the commercials tell me), but I just didn't know what you actually did there. Do you just walk around and wait for someone to pop out and scare you, or go into haunted houses, or....?

Yeah, everyone hired is there to try to scare you/creep you out; Depends what the performance captain says your motivation.

Well at the Hollywood event you have your "scare zones" which is basically the normal daytime sets turned into scenes of horror and mayhem. For example, our New York street was turned into "Klownz" where a gang of street clowns have taken over and run rampant. You have to walk through these areas in order to get anywhere in the park. So it's basically designed to feel like you're trapped in one big horror movie.

Then you've got the mazes that are the main attractions. Here in Hollywood they're generally based on movies. The Orlando one tends to be more original.

Oooohhh, that's cool. I'm probably too much of a chicken though, ahaha. I've never even been inside a haunted house because it'll freak me out But it does sound like fun!
