The worst part for me wasn't the terror (which was still bad thanks to the blood covered Indian and the redneck who said "Look at me again and I'll tear off yer head and s*** down your neck hole."), it was the not being able to do what I want to do. I really thought at one point I was gonna flip out and was fantasizing about breaking through the wall.

Like, if I've had a mega-ton to drink on an empty stomach, the next day my blood sugar's so f***ed up, I feel like I'm literally gonna die if I don't eat and drink something, heart starts racing, cold sweat, tingling fingers and lips, etc.
So I told 'em about my condition and they just laughed. So I sat there quivering for hours. Finally I looked bad enough that they brought a doctor in who checked my blood and his eyes got huge and he said "Get him some food NOW!"

The bastards thought I was just being a pansy or something, and not being free to go and simply get a gatorade and a burrito was like the worst Hell imaginable, at the time.
