Question: How do you show your Mom (wife) that you appreciate her, especially today?

I don't give her s**t about anything for 24 hours and generally do things I'd go out of my way to avoid. Ah yes, and a card is standard.

But newayz, Happy mum day to mums and mum figures around these places. Gimme some candy.

I can only remember seeing two or three mothers around here, but I'm not really doing anything for Mother's Day, because...

A. I think it's a stupid holiday.
B. I'm not in town. (I'll probably put in a phone call, but yeah.)
C. My mother's birthday was when I was in town (I came back a week ago today, and got there two weeks ago today) and we celebrated that together.

A was just generally more helpful than usual, and got my Mother the DVD of Phantom of the Opera (we generally give presents as opposed to flowers, etc. in my house).

I also was helping around the house at my grandmothers.
