Personally I loved the ambiguity and how everything wasn't wrapped up in a near little bow. As they said on the show real life doesn't work like that.

It was so weird when that crazy guy started talking like a Englishman from the 1940's and then getting frisky with his sister-wife.

^^The guy who played Errol, the creepy big and bad, played Remus on Boardwalk Empire. I almost expected to hear him talk about himself in the third person. It was the English accent that made me realize it.

This was one of the most intense, terrifying and yet brilliant episodes of television I have seen in quite some time. My emotions were all over the place, to the creepy opening all the way to McConaughey's emotional final speech, this episode had me hooked like I've never been hooked before. Easy 10 out of 10 rating for me, perfect episode for a rare and absolutely perfect television series. I can't wait for Season 2, and I will be rewatching every single episode pronto because there's so much that I seemed to have missed (I missed the first couple of times the guy with the scars showed up, but just hearing the witnesses describe him, [BLACKOUT]especially that little girl[/BLACKOUT], gave me the chills every time). I couldn't believe how intense and horrifying that climax got, never have I been in such absolute fear for a [BLACKOUT]television character's life[/BLACKOUT] quite like this before. I didn't want to see [BLACKOUT]the bad guy win, which they were implying throughout,[/BLACKOUT] because that notion left me absolutely terrified as this show has been devastatingly realistic throughout it's course. McConaughey and Harrelson deserve every acting award and then some, this is just flat-out brilliant work all-around. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

that's about all we know..

My speculation is we'll have a dual female led cast (no idea who to cast for that), dealing hopefully in a place outside of Louisiana, with crimes in the transportation system (maybe human transportation was my first thought).

I also wouldn't mind seeing the Tuttles being somehow wrapped into that again since they were such a shady family bunch I'm sure they were involved in numerous illegal things that have been hushed up, but i'd like any future seasons of the show to stand on their own from each other, outside of little connections maybe like a name drop or something.

The finale was everything I could've hoped for and more.

Slowly captivating in an almost hypnotizing way; both with straight-up creepy suspense and with emotional poignance.

The season as a whole is a near perfect storm of being both thrilling and profound.

It already has, tv has been the home for better story telling and compelling characters for some time. Movie want to dazzle you with special that they hope can overcome weak story telling and one dimensional characterization.

There will be a second season but this story is over. It's an anthology series just like American Horror Story
