Just started watching this year. I think the show is great, but perhaps cuz I enjoy some aspects of cooking.
I was really disappointed when the girls started picking people based on personal vendettas, as opposed to cooking skills. Corey started it, and that was bad enough, but I thought it would stop with her... no such luck.
I thought the guys were above such counterproductive pettyness, but that all went out the window when they put Louross up as opposed to Matt who was sinking the ship even back then, all based on beef with Ben. I kinda feel like Ben and Bobby are hiding behind each other, and the other guys just kinda fall in line. It's pretty crazy, as Bobby, Ben and Petroza could be great Chefs if they pushed themselves, but they're all laying low, playing the reality TV show game like its Survivor or Big Brother.
The girls side is all hit and miss, I think Jen has the most potential, but her ego is off the friggin charts.
I like seeing how Ramsey (and/or his producers) squirm their way around the ruleset. This week, even though the girls technically won, Ramsey managed to get rid of a girl anyway. That's slick manueverng there, imho.
Corey's kinda the moral degredation factor on the show, I think that's why she was put on, or perhaps, she's just acting out because she believes playing the ****ty backstabber will get her the job of her dreams. Not sure.
I'm rooting for Petroza, honestly, but I'd settle for Ben, Bobby, Jen or even Rosalyn.
