Ok this is how it is. If you have someone that is out every night saving and protecting people from under a mask, Is he a hero or a vigilante?

I think a vigilante is a person that take justice into their own hands. A Hero is a person who risks his own life to save others. And not wanting to take personal credit for it. Cops, Medics, Fire Fighters they all get recognized on a personal level. people under a mask don't want that, they only want the symbolthey represent to be known.

With that said. It's your thoughts I want to hear. And Yes all post welcome

a hero is legit. Cops, firemen, etc... are heroes. Vigilantes are unofficial. They're seen as criminals I think.

I don't really have anything constructive to add, other than that is a very unforunate username you have chosen, A-Man. :(

If you save someone's life, you're a hero.

If you try to take down people you believe to be criminals, you're a vigilante.

If you're willing to... you're mine. ;)

A hero is selfless and couragous. A vigilante does things for his own gratification.

If you're wearing a mask, fighting 'evil people' even though it may seem heroic, you are still a vigilante.

You are not a cop, you don't have the authority.

Bounty hunters are *****e-bags, just thought I'd share.

I'd just like to take the time to agree with Badger. VERY unfortunate name, and that's coming from me... :o

You might not understand why yet, but I'm sure you will soon.

I agree Badger. It could only be worse if the dash was replaced by two asterisks.
